Biography
Multimedia artist. Born in 1991 in the village of Inder, Novosibirsk region. Graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 2014, 'Dok Dok Dok — School of Contemporary Photography' in 2016. In her projects she reflects on the interaction of personal and collective memory, factors of identity formation. She works with photography, video, natural materials, creates embroideries and uses alternative ways of photographic fixation. In 2019 she was a finalist of the Makers of Siberia Photo Prize. From 2016-2021 she was co-editor of the Novosibirsk-based magazine PHOTO → Station, for which she translated critical texts by Martha Rosler, Alan Sekula, Ine Gevers and Judith Butler. She writes texts on post-documentary photography. Currently lives in Moscow. Works in Moscow and Novosibirsk.
