Artist statement

Most of my personal or collective projects have appeared as a result of thinking about conditions and factors which form identity. Cultural memory is the second theme that I work on. Identity, in a sense, is a consequence of the interweaving of the canons of memory (collective, personal, official). In “The Path of Waves” I started from the idea of confrontation to an oblivion. I thought about the transformation of the settler’s memory who lived on the territories flooded during the construction of hydroelectric power plants. I use post-documentary practices, because I appeal to subjective trustworthiness in my projects. A work or project as a whole becomes a starting point for thinking about an event, it allows you to be aware of it affectively.
